Who we are

Snippy Snip is published by DB Ventures, which is responsible for the personal information described here. "We" and "our" below mean DB Ventures.

The app

Snippy Snip runs entirely on your Mac. It contains no telemetry, no analytics, and no tracking. Your screenshots and recordings are stored only on your device and are never transmitted anywhere unless you copy, save, share, or upload them yourself.

Snippy Snip requests macOS Screen Recording permission solely to capture your screen when you ask it to, and (optionally) Microphone and Camera permission to include your narration or your camera picture in recordings you start — both only while a recording you started is running. These permissions are managed by macOS and can be revoked at any time in System Settings.

This website

• If you give us your email — for a discount code, for the free download, or to hear about what we ship — we store that address, and a note of which page you came from so we can keep what we send you relevant. We use it only to email you about Snippy Snip and the other things we build. We never sell it or share it with advertisers. Unsubscribe with one click from the link in any email, and we'll delete your address.
• We use privacy-respecting, aggregate page analytics (no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers).
• We do not sell or share personal information with anyone.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which handles your payment details under its own privacy policy. Checkout happens on Lemon Squeezy's own pages — your card details never reach this site or our servers. We receive only what's needed to deliver your license (name, email, license key).
